I bought version 8 of this book which was about the time I started learning Adobe Illustrator in earnest. Several versions later, I'm now actually in the book with a mini-feature and all. Of course, I'd buy this book even if I weren't in it! It's that good!

The online school I teach at - Sessions.edu recently published its first book. Within its pages are projects for those familiar and just starting out with Photoshop and Illustrator. My handsome mug appears in Chapter 3 with a concise introduction to Illustrator as well as a related project. What's great about this book is that you can log onto a Sessions site and get feedback from a number of instructors at the school... including me!
